Around the Hotel

The hotel is located in the prime commercial area of Ahmednagar, a historic city and major transit hub in Maharashtra. Its central location brings with it all the hustle and bustle of daily life; banks, retail stores, and local eateries that are just a short walk away. There is no scenic beauty in its immediate vicinity- viewing mostly concrete and traffic- but extreme utility which barely leaves one ever more than five meters away from an ATM or pharmacy or transport link.

Culturally, the hotel serves as a good base for visiting the historic Ahmednagar Fort – famous for being the place where Jawaharlal Nehru was imprisoned during the freedom struggle – a short auto-rickshaw ride away. The hotel is also well-positioned for tourists visiting the Cavalry Tank Museum, another unique military museum that is among very few of its kind in the world. For business travelers, it affords relatively easy navigation to MIDC industrial areas on the outskirts of town while family travelers are often seen using it as a luxurious pit-stop before heading towards either Shani Shingnapur or Shirdi’s holy shrines.
